Marsupial mascot Crash Bandicoot is continuing his triumphant return with the announcement of a mobile game coming to iOS and Android.
From his amazing PS1 cameo in Uncharted 4, the rapturous reception to a remaster of the original trilogy and a numbered sequel on the way, Crash’s stock has never been higher.
Called Crash Bandicoot: On The Run, it looks like it’ll be an into-the-screen endless runner (how has this not been done already?), bringing together a classic cast of characters to the small(er) screen.
Word is that it’ll not be just mindless bounding over boxes, but will also introduce some base-building mechanics for a real sense of progression.
Delivered by Candy Crush legends King, the game is now live for pre-registration with a funky blue hyena skin up for grabs if you’re an early adopter.
