Month-long mural marks launch of cyberpunk videogame.
To mark the launch of videogame Scarlet Nexus, Bandai Namco Europe has hooked up with famed graffiti artist Jim Vision, daubing the streets of Spitalfields in London with a huge mural.
Check out the video below for a timelapse of the epic piece in association with EndofTheLine going up – the product of two days, fifty cans of spray paint, and thirty-three shades of colour (including plenty of neon).
Rave attire mainstay Cyberdog has also got in on the action – transforming their Camden Market store into a hive of activity on release day (25th June).
Everything from the chance to see more live graffiti work, to the chance to win prizes and signed prints are all available throughout the day.
Set in an equally dayglo dimension, Scarlet Nexus begins with an awakening of the human mind, an alternate future where psychic powers are commonplace and otherworldly beings are set on toppling a fragile society.
A select few have been called up as Earth’s last line of defence against the alien threat – aptly named ‘psionics’ – using their newfound abilities to protect civilisation from these strange and dangerous monsters, as well as discover the source of their powers.
This anime-drenched RPG has been developed by beat-em-up veterans Platinum Games of Bayonetta and Nier Automata fame, giving a stylish and slick edge to combat.
Scarlet Nexus is available today on Xbox, Playstation and PC, whilst the launch event is at Camden’s Cyberdog on Chalk Farm Road, from 11am to 8pm.
