Beres

If you’re not familiar with the Beres series, it is Honma’s line for Golf connoisseurs based on premium aesthetics and design.

Whilst each and every Honma club is made expert craftsmanship, it is only the master craftsmen at Honma that get to engineer, make and assemble the Beres series.

Beres clubs are crafted by the finest Takumi (Master craftsman) with over 30 years of experience in the game and all must stick to the 3 values of craftsmanship. Superiority, Precision and Ultimate Craftsmanship.

“Only Honma’s most experienced takumi are permitted to work on BERES. These golf clubs represent the soul of our company and are the ultimate artistic expression of our most talented clubmakers,” Hiroshi Suwa, Senior Director, Product Development Division.

With their iconic Necter and Gold look, each Beres club comes in a 2-5 star grading number with each star representing different cosmetic detailing with 5-star grades featuring precious metals such as 24k gold and platinum accents.

P308 Design

A distinctive T-shaped design is used on the P308 giving it a well-balanced feel and also maximum forgiveness with a high MOI (Moment of Intertia) which will stop the putter from moving in any slight direction upon impact.

It’s said that the low sole weighting and positioning is used to achieve an increased centre of gravity and offer a 13% improvement on its roll compared to its predecessor the PP202.

The forged CNC milled head features a double-mill to give you even more control of the putt and connection to the ball, especially on off-centre strikes.

On the top, you’ll find 3 sightlines to really aid your set-up and buy you more confidence in the direction of the putt and managing the read.

Like other Beres clubs, the P308 will be available in 2-5 star finishes in which you choose to upgrade your shaft but also the embellishments in the clubhead, ferrules and also the grips.

Price

Pricing will change depending on luxurious you want your putter to but the RRPs start from £629 up to £4150 for the top-of-the-range putters in a Gold-Plated finish.
